Welcome To Have Dice!

Have Dice has been running tabletop roleplaying games in Dorset since 1985 and we now have around 35 members. The club meets every Thursday night in the Poole area and we run four or five games tables from 7.30pm until 10.00-10.30pm. See here for current venue.

We have a dozen or so regular GMs and many different games to offer. Dungeons & Dragons makes a regular appearance, but a wide variety of other games systems and genres see plenty of action too!

Have Dice is not a profit-making organisation, but we do have to pay for various things such as ensuring a suitable venue; plus we have an annual bbq, a raffle, and also run our very own one day gaming convention Con-Troll in Dorchester!

Membership is just £5 per calendar year and our fees are £3 per game night. However, the 1st week is always free so you've nothing to lose!

The club is very welcoming and we're always looking for new players and GMs!

Is there food and refreshment available?

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS
Bringing you own drinks could jeopardise both the venue's licence, and our use of the venue.

Is there an age limit?
Because our venue is a Licensed Premises, and due to concerns over legal responsibilities, attendees should be over 14 and if under 18, accompanied by an adult.

Will you be running X game?
We only have one rule for which games we run; whatever people want to play! For example we have run the following: Dungeons & Dragons (all variants), Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Call of Cthulhu, Mage, Vampire, Witchcraft, Godlike, Mutants and Masterminds, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Skyrealms of Jorune, Slaine D20, Amber, Ars Magica, The Dark Eye, Serenity, Traveller, Paranoia, Wraith, SLA Industries, Star Wars, Feng Shui, Chivalry and Sorcery, Armageddon, Shadowrun, Rolemaster, Numenera, Victoriana, and those are only the ones we can remember!

Can I run X game?
If we can find enough players who want to play your game you can run whatever you like!
